Military surplus motorcycles for sale in 1946 in bulk. Apparently, you had to buy at least 5 to qualify. (via !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! )

Oh man. Can you imagine what five of those things would be worth today? Can you imagine keeping all five and riding one for each day of the work week? This is the type of post that gets my motorcycle fever going at a fever pitch.

The OP said you had to buy "5 to 10". It looks like they're grouped in bundles of 10. I'll bet the majority ended up as police rides. I'm not a rider, but it would be interesting to know the specs of those mass produced war bikes.
